If I were to be anyone...

One of the first things told to me when given the assignment was to think outside of the box and avoid the clichéd. I do believe the person I have chosen for this topic steps outside the box in every way possible. If I could be anyone for a day I would chose to be O.J. Simpson. He is neither the stereotypical role model nor anywhere close to someone to look up to, but at the same time his character captivates me.
Before I started to write I did my research on the case and most believe him to be guilty of both murders although the courts convicted him of only one. Many rap artists refer to him in their lyrics saying they would get away like O.J. If he did in fact murder his ex-wife the fact that he could escape conviction not only insults our judicial system, but also shows that with a large amount of money and the brains to hire the right attorney anyone can receive a get out of jail free card.
In a letter written to O.J. from Nicole Brown Simpson, Nicole called O.J. on every mistake he made in the relationship from the cheating to the abuse. She asked him to keep the letter whether they stayed together or not. He cheated on her many times before their marriage and after. He told Nicole she gained too much weight during her pregnancy.
