"Healthy Living and Holistic Health Are At The Core Of My Philosophy"

Opportunities for change come in all shapes and sizes in life and sometimes they seem more like tragedies than opportunities. A chronic illness, death or loss of a dream can often be the catalyst to help us break out of that narrow box we all create for ourselves.

Life challenges can be the one thing that shakes our world up enough to wake us up to the fact that life is truly a gift. And if we are smart and we listen carefully to the messages, it might just help guide us to our authentic self.

Dealing with a chronic illness for the past 10 years has led me to living a more holistic lifestyle. One that includes all dimensions of my being; my mind, my body, my spirit and the environment I choose to live in. I believe that by following this holistic path I have experienced profound improvements in my physical, spiritual and mental wellbeing.

This is why I am so passionate about promoting holistic health and living a more harmonious lifestyle. And why it is so important for me to provide sound information from my own personal experience in hopes that it will be useful in your search for living a healthier, more natural and balanced life.

Healthy Living and Holistic Health are at the core of my philosophy. They are the main building blocks to fulfilling your potential for living a happier and more satisfying life. I stress this philosophy throughout my web site, which includes information on dealing with a chronic illness, my recovery, holistic wealth, holistic living and creating healthy lifestyles. I include and touch upon all aspects of our lives including:

The food we eat
The homes we live in
The way we travel
The careers we choose
The level of wealth we choose
The way we think
The personal relationships we have
They all contribute not only to defining who we are and how we choose to live our lives, but also the impact these choices ultimately have on our health and happiness. The good news is that we can be in charge; we can create that healthy lifestyle through living holistically. We have the power to change our lives by choosing the right alternatives available to us all.

The most important thing to remember for now is to start recognizing how powerful your thoughts are. How you choose to look at events that happen in your life can greatly impact all aspects of your life. It sounds complicated but in reality it is quite simple. The first step is to just increase your level of awareness. If you are still reading this then guess what? You just completed the first step! Congratulations! Until next time.

Yours in Health,

The Power of Your Thoughts

September 15th 2010 22:33
Welcome to this new blog. I plan on writing about how you really do have control over your mind, body & ultimately your health. Ironically I've come to discover that most people don't know what it's like to feel healthy. Health is currently defined as "The absense of disease". Meaning if you don't feel sick then you must be healthy. I will show you in future articles that this just isn't true. Once you discover what true health really is, and how you can potentially feel. Having unlimited energy, awesome relationships, and the pursuit of your truest passions in life, you will be amazed at how simple it is and yet at the same time how tragic it is that most people don't even realize it.

My name is Jimmy. I have a background in Chiropractic Medicine along with clinical nutrition and Acupuncture. My goal here is to just share information that I feel is too important for people to not know about. I look forward to getting to know others who are as passionate as I am in getting to the truth behind all the propaganda that is involved in or current health care system.
