Amy Finds Out About Doomsday
January 23rd 2012 06:31
Amy looked to the world outside. It seemed too bright. So much brighter then before. She wondered why? She opened the window in order to breathe in the air. All she could smell was pollution. So Amy closed the window and began to pout. She couldn't even go outside without going dizzy.
“What is happening to the word?” she asked as she moved to her desk in order to take a look at the computer.
Amy turned the computer on. She looked to it. She then began to research.
“How are the pollution levels going?” she asked.
She brought up a report, and she read the figures straight. She followed it all with her eyes, but it seemed like mumble jumble. She couldn't understand. She felt weak. Amy then moved to another website. She couldn't even read a fact or figure.
“Maybe I am not meant to find out!” she gasped, before she clicked on an unnamed link and brought up a movie.
The movie outlined that it was the end of the world. It threw facts fast, much too fast for Amy. She shook her head. But then the end came.
It was doomsday!
Amy gasped, and glared at the wall.
“It's doomsday!” she announced before a great big pop sounded that shook the earth and the house.
Amy raced to the window, she saw the sky was red! The sun had gone, its stars were floating around and racing to earth. Soon Amy discovered however that the stars were not stars, they were large pieces of burning debris, and they were heading towards earth at a speed faster then sound.
“We're all going to die!” she gasped as she glared at the debris unable to look away.
