All Moved!

So we've moved and settled in nicely. That up above is the new White House, needs a bit of cleaning and painting doing but it's our home for at least the next year and hopefully maybe longer.
The move went really well and smoothly, we had the best removal firm ever and they didn't even bat an eyelid when there was twice as much stuff to move as they were expecting. Nor were they flumaxed when they couldn't get our wardrobe down the stairs and had to spend about 15 minutes trying to dismantle it even more than what it was. They were fantastic. Plus they had us all moved in an hour quicker than they said too. They turned up at 7.30am and everything was moved and settled int he new house by 12.30pm!
As for Daz, Callum and I we've all settled in well. The journey to school is longer for Callum and I, I'm spending about 4 hours a day travelling! We're hoping after Easter to move Callum to a new school much nearer, like the one that's about 5-10 minutes walk away from our new house! Daz gets a great deal though and has a short walk to the top of our road where he hails a bus that takes a ten minute journey and stops outside his office, not bad huh?
We're still unpacking boxes but that will take a while and we had to buy some new cupboards as we didn't have enough storage space at the new house. The garden is a blank canvas and I have a small plan in my mind on how I want it to look.
In a couple weeks we're having a little party/get together at the house for our friends and family as a joint moving in/ Daz birthday which will hopefully be fun.
The other week Callum and I went and explored our new neighbourhood. If anyone is interested I write about it on Callum's Blog. It was a challenge set by a friend from the internet called Tyler (General Admissions) and his entry is linked on my entry. Feel free to have a read and comment if you so wish.
Well that's all for now. I have to go and build a computer table as it's a bit achy using the laptop on a low level cupboard while sitting on a deck-chair.
Take Care.
Sarah.

I tried to go to Callum's blog but I keep getting a message that I have insufficient permissions.

That can always be stressful especially if you have little ones - seems this house is better... well once you get Callum into the new school. 4 hours a day? Mrs M is right... that`s love!

Yes it does feel like home, the three of us have really settled in and we've all said to each other that we would love to live here for a long time. We've just sent off the forms for a school for Callum locally so fingers crossed something comes through soon and that long long school run is at an end, even Callum has said he is getting fed up with it now.
Thanks for popping by.
Take Care.
