All I want for Christmas is a donation...
December 3rd 2007 06:49
Right now I'm feeling horrendously guilty for being a starving, broke as hell, student. I'm currently wishing I could donate some money to Nanowrimo, which has barely broken even in the donations arena.
Therefore, I'm going to ask, and pray, that anyone who loves me or my blogging enough to think I'm worth say... ten dollars... to donate to NaNoWriMo as a Christmas gift to me, in Litharukia's name. I'm pretty sure there's actually a package. (Plus the donater gets a halo)
I really love NaNoWriMo; it's been my inspiration for a good four years. Every single year I've made it to at least thirty thousand words. I won this year and last year with more words than I needed or could've dreamed of getting. This site has been so influential in my life, not only this year, but every year, that I can't imagine life without it. At all.
They need money for year-round hosting and for their new and improved website. One thing I've got to hand to them, NaNo always has SOME spiffy new feature, and the certificates are always prettiful. I love that site, I love the community, I love everything about it. And I can't imagine how November would feel without it.
So please, if you care to read this and honestly give a shit about my existence (which you most likely don't, but anyway...), do me and thousands of other writers a favor-donate to NaNoWriMo...
