" THE LAIR " Season One (LINK)

August 25th 2008 01:37
This is for my fellow gay men who go out there and give it all they got, even though. All they got is mostly is good looks, decent bodies, and okay actting skills. I hate to rag on the TV series brought to you by Here! Of course, if I don't. I would not be honest with anyone. So, here is the deal with this show which is just merely pure soft core porn, with little talent. Best watched when it's late at night and your to lazy to put in your favorite gay porno starring Brad Brenton or Colton Ford.

Now, before I say anything else. I have to say something here. After I watch the whole first season back to back. I have to say I got my daily dose of humor. To all the workers on this project, you can see that this series is about having a good time while actting forgettable parts. This show reminds me of those spainish novelas that you see on Telemundo. They are so cheezy but yet you just have to watch them for the humor in it. So I guess I am being entertain. Just not the way I thought.

So here is the plot line for this. As Thom gets closer to solving the mystery, he finds himself ensnared in a blood thirsty coven of vampires. As the story unravels, a lost love fulfills its destiny and old alliances are betrayed. This supernatural soap is as dark as it is erotic and will leave fans wanting to return to The Lair again and again. ---Here ! Sounds pretty simple, and yet I guess it's a step for gay TV.

This gay drama, is directed by Fred Olen Ray who has a long list of small time movies such as, " Solar Flare " and " Final Examination " Also with new projects such as, " Recoil " which is in post- production. As for the main leads, David Moretti. With pericing good looks. ( "Dante's Cove" and "In Enemy Hands" ) Also, Peter Sickles. The dark and smug cutie pie. ( "Cemetery Gates" and "Shortbus" ) These men, are the ones that make the story for what it is. Not to mention, the porn stars. Colton Ford which is the main reason why most people tune into this low buget program.

There is some okay actting as well, Actress Beverly Lynne. ( " The Bewitching " and "Terror Toons" ) Which I would call the, "Fag Hag" of the series. Has a decent flare to this series of dark sexual gay encounters. To be honest, I would like to see more of her and how this would play. This chacter is someone who we should all be watching out for. She will become very important to this drama. Not to mention, I hate to say this. Girlfriend, you do have a nice Rack too, making alot of Drag queens bicker in envy.

" The Lair " lacks alot, but what do people really expect. To be for real. I did enjoy watching the show. With a couple of different point of views this show does have the potential to survive. Maybe some comedy elements. Or some more twists. Only the writers and cast know what Season 2 will be like. But I have to say this. I sort of can't wait for it. I do want to know what happens. Also, I have a thing for Johnny Hazzard, ( Another porn star ) who will be in the series as well.

I give props to all who make this drama possible. At least there are some people out there who are trying and who feel that being laid back is the way to make a good drama. Not big bugets or perfect actors and actress. But sometimes it's just the good times and knowing that all are there to make this project come true. Now for more info on Season 1 or Season 2 please click on (LINK) above this article to learn much more about the program. Or visit such these sites about your favorite porn stars.

" KILLER MOVIE " (LINK)

August 24th 2008 23:37
HI Scooby! Well, what do you get when you, cross a Spoiled actress ( Punky Brewster suffering from Hypertermia) in a small remote Northern town and a Cheap reality show, that is behind production because a senseless murder. As most would say the formula, for another crazy horror movie, brought to you by the concept of well thinking director. "Killer Movie" is something that I thought that could never be pulled off. But this new outlook twist to the aged old slasher gerne made me change my creepy little mind.

So with that said, let's get the skinny on the plot. Full synopsis, This feature film tells the story of a reality television shoot that goes terrifyingly awry when its crew becomes stranded in a remote Northern town. A killer is on the loose, stalking cast and crew members one by one. As past suspicions, betrayals and secrets inexplicably come into play, the unimaginable horror of shooting this reality show becomes all too real for Jake Tanner, the show's director, his crew and Hollywood starlet Blanca Champion. With jump out of your seat special effects, spot on comic timing from excellent actors, heart stopping suspense and inventive murder sequences, this movie is a scary, sexy, fun and unforgettable ride ripped from today's headlines. ---The Internet Movie Database.

Are you doing like the tagline says? Are you fearing reality? To be honest, I always feared reality TV, because we all know that reality is never reality to begin with. If it was, it be called a documentary. Anyway, Jeff Fisher the Director/Producer/Writer who brought you such great titles as, " The Simple Life" and "The Real World". As put this new touch which was apart of the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival. With such upcoming actors as the dreamy Paul Wesley, "Fallen", "Peaceful Warrior". Also, the lovely Kaley Cuoco, "Charmed" and " 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter". For more info check out the website, SeeKillerMovie.com. Or click on (LINK) next to the title of this review.

This movie was something that I never even heard of and would not ever go pay to see since times have been rough. After getting this movie, threw snail mail. Sent to me from a friend. ( Thanks Tony!!!) I would have to say I am such a great fan of it. Thumbs up to Jeff and the rest of the cast and production team who did this film. You can tell they all had a good time doing this film, and nothing but sheer entertainment came from this peice of master work. With a couple of interresting killing sences and great dumb blond moments for chuckling gags. Films like these are a dime a dozen, making people want to kick back with there partner who enjoy slasher films and laugh but still get a buzzing, chilling jump of terror. Making this film worth the money to rent or go see.

"No good can come of you staying here. You have brought evil to our town. The likes we have never seen. Mark my words and leave now. Consider yourselves warned, all of you!" Coach Hason, Bruce Bohne. Sound alittle like , the creepy old man that warns you in the early Friday the 13th films? Well, to those who know the genre. You know deep down what will happen in this film. But for those die hard fans who love that formula, who watch these over and over again. Who can never get enough. Please go see this film. You will not be disappointed. I mean, what can be better? Sex, Lies, and Murder with a high body count. With a dose of another perspective of view. It worked for Halloween Resurrection !

Everyone knows this is the time for remakes, it's like common knowledge. In the horror field, anyway. If anyone remembers a blog awhile ago. I mention something about Horror films that don't get a chance. This got me thinkin, what about remakes that should be done. Now, if you know me from my blogs. I hate remakes, if not dispise them. Most of them never live up there name but hell with these films. I am about to list, I think Hollywood should make an exception

PSYCHO VS. PSYCHO

May 10th 2008 19:37

In an old blog, I chewed out Gus Van Sant for that remake he did of the classic in which we all love. To my self, I noticed it's been awhile that I even seen the film. Now, before I get chewed up for being a jurk. I must say I was at the age of Freshman year in high school when this remake came out. Like everyone else, I was dissppionted in this film. Honest though, my opinion has changed. So I have made this blog, in hope to justifed myself and maybe both movies. Your opinion is valued here.

" THE SLAUGHTER "

May 10th 2008 16:23
QUICK ! SOMEONE CALL HUGH HEFNER ! IT'S THE HORROR COMEDY TITY FILM OF THE YEAR !
Now, I am not going to rag on this film to much because this film most likely had one to many rags on set. If you catch my drift. Someone please pass the tampons! " The Slaughter" At first made me want to pass it on and pass out . Knowing by looks at the cheap artwork cover. That this film had to stayed buried. As they say though, nothing stays dead and buried for long.

THE NUN

May 10th 2008 15:14
Hello fellow horror fans. Another review has come into my playing field and to what I have to say is oddly funny. What I have found is something that you would only find in your straight to video section. You know those movies. The ones that you laugh at with the disappointing titles. To my dismay, I picked one up and I have to say, at least it was a shot in the dark. As for most remakes and movies that never make it in theathers this one does raise an eyebrow or two.

Now, at the Edge of Seventeen. We all know as people were wild and crazy, but when you are in a Catholic boarding school in Barcelona. It's not, " Girl's Gone Wild ". Anyone who is a surivor of Catholic school nuns know how twisted they can be and this film faintly suggests how wickly those horrible penguins can be. Most of all when they come out of Ice cold water

" HELLBENT "

April 27th 2008 06:16
Okay, this movie stands alone in it's own way. Directed and geared to only the gay and bisexual community, this film is more campy with the typical slasher stereo types. Now you know what I would do to a bad film like this one. But to be honest, I feel as a homosexual male I should stand up for this film. Of course, I am not. This film was just Bad BAD BAD! Thank god, it was released in 2004. Also though, never heard for again.

So let me tell you the plot. In a nut shell. A group of gay men, get ready for West Hollywood Halloween night and are stalked by a really beefy masked killer who has it in for cute looking men. Starring Dylan Fergus and Bryan Kirkwood, also for those who know him from his singing career and Great Gay Porn career, the only Colton Ford. Written and Directed by Paul Etheredge-Ouzts

TOOTH AND NAIL, Horrorfest 2007

April 26th 2008 17:32
Another okay film from the " After Dark Films/ Lions Gate" Horrorfest 2007. Tooth and Nail is one of those films that you would rent if there is nothing to see on a Sunday rainy afternoon. It has the basic sernario as any zombie or cannibal movie, the struggle for surivival. Only the fittest will surive. Here is the basic plot if you really don't feel like researching it.

In a post-apocalyptic world, a small group of survivors, who call themselves Foragers, plan to rebuild civilization from their headquarters in an empty hospital based in what is left of Philadelphia. But they're soon forced into a face-off war with the Rovers, another gang of survivors whom are a brutal gang of cannibals. As the Rovers take out the Foragers one by one, the Foragers must draw on all their resources to stay alive. Written by Anonymous, from The Internet Movie Database
