Alcohol In The Sky
May 25th 2009 22:02
To those who follow things that are aviation, there seems to be an increase in air rage. These are mostly contributed to alcohol consumption. Getting drunk in the sky can be downright dangerous at times. Flight attendants are caught in the middle because they sell drinks for the airline's bottom line, but then have to react to the actions of a drunk passenger.
This can turn dangerous fast. I've read of some passengers having to be duct taped to the seat to restrain them. Other passengers usually help to subdue an out-of-control passenger.
Perhaps there should be a limit on drinks per flight or per hour. But I don't see this happening any time soon.
