I just hate how the moment those ppl get into the music they assume that they are now pros in the field. Nothing worse then being told wats in or not when it comes to music by ppl who only follows it cause its a trend.

There still is true indie though, many weird underground bands out there that have sold themselves out by placing the title "indie" on themselves, but rather letting the audience decided on that. I just want it to fade away again, where it was unique and diff to listen to this kinda of music. Something new will come, and only the true fans will stick by their music.

Glad to see that you agree. I know u always liked that music, but doensnt it bother u that the majority of ppl in ur youth are now listenin to it all, when the week before they were all listening to craig david and puff daddy. Far out, must be expensive for them to changes styles every few months. Ticks me off

Keeping in line with this theme of music, I have to now vent some furry on a topic which I am sure to many seems selfish and silly. Yet for those who understand where I am coming from, completely understandable. And thats is this sudden interst in the punk or rock style of music. I just dont get it, it is now just a flavour of the month and lost all uniqueness that it once had. Its as if something switc was flipped in the society and music that was once crap and for goths was now the music of choice for every trend following, fickle person out there. They put down there bling-bling and picked up a guitar. And this talk about "indie" as a style?? People talk about it as if it really is a genre when in fact it was simply any other style of music that didnt fit into the other rock categories, making it into a style in itself now kicks out certain bands which would once be placed into that category. Indie used to be underground, but as a seperate style it is no longer unique, but as mainstream as anything else. I just cant wait to see the next populart stlye of music to come so that I can see heaps of ppl I know rush out to buy all the CD's, clothes and attitudes that come with, and stand by it as if they always liked it, and push all the true fans out of the way. Be true to your music
