Speak of the Week #9 'I'm a Dog' by Morgan Bell

An animal psychologist once said that dogs will often forget why they are somewhere or why are they are doing something. Today I felt like a dog.

Here I was in the middle of coles on a friday thinking to myself 'Why am I shopping at the hellhole known as Coles? Why am I doing it on friday? Why didn't I go shopping yesterday? And why the hell are there so many people in today?'

It was a mystery, I hate Coles with a passion, I want to destroy it, murder it even. As I walked past the crowd I overheard someone say 'it's usually not so full on Fridays' and I suddenly realized, Fridays is the day I take out the trash (and had forgotten) but more importantly I had received an email from a certain Morgan Bell suggesting something or another about Coles donating all their profits to the bushfire victims this Friday.

It totally makes sense now, of course I still hate Coles and wouldn't put it past them to lie about their supposed

Feminism is a Failed Experiment

Women are irrational, I'm not saying that because I have something against them, it's just how it is. They tend to have all sorts of emotions for reasons even they don't know. So when you have a movement like feminism you know it could very well have started by some woman who got angry after she burned her hand on the stove.

See women are equal to men but different, feminists however go against the natural order of things by saying they say they are equal and the same, and some think they are greater and the same

'Australia' Fails to Bring in Tourism

Apparently the utter failure known as 'Australia' did not help the Australian tourism industry.

Tourism Australia, a government agency that represents the tourism business in Australia, has poured A$40 million (Us$26.5 million) of taxpayers' money into the marketing campaign for Baz Luhrmann's Australia but is expected to get "less bang for our dollar" than the tourist agency had originally anticipated, the Sidney Morning Herald reported Tuesday. The film, which had a mediocre debut at the U.S. box office and received mixed reviews from critics, had been expected to help boost tourism to Australia. But Federal Tourism Minister Martin Ferguson deflected questions from the Smh over whether it would succeed in doing so, saying only, "Time will tell, but it is too early to say yet."

Women are Slutty and Men are Ammoral

Is the message you're going to get from the two new James Bond movies. You might argue this is true or near true for other renditions of James Bond but the newer ones are an exception in that they take themselves too seriously. You can kill and rape women but if it's tongue in cheak then it's black comedy, when you make a character who is supposedly a cold hearted killer and deny him the gadgetry he was afforded in previous movies he was featured in then you're doing it wrong.

Perhaps I'm just annoyed Casino Royale was pretty much a propaganda flick about how 'even the Prime Minister isn't stupid enough to ask us what we do' and the media is full of 'self righteous' jerks who dare question the actions of a secretative organization which recruits cold blooded killers. I wouldn't have a problem if the aforementioned cold blooded killers had fancy gadgetry and for those interested, a fidgety defribliator does not qualify as fancy gadgetry

Neither side is any better than the other.

Morally Hamas and the IDF are matched. however you're kidding yourself if you think somehow what the Palestinians did out of desperation is on the same level as what the Israelis have done from Propaganda.

If someone murders your entire family you're going to be angry about it and no one is going to blame you because you are unable to forgive the murder because he was brainwashed.

BOTH must unreservedly accept EQUAL responsibility both for what has heppened in the past and for building the future without argument, or this will never end.

That is not logical nor is it just, should the Palestinians take responsibility for the illegal blockade on humanitarian aid they were forced to endure? Should they take responsibility for being forced to eat grass to survive? Should they be forced to take responsibility for, in their desperation, firing rockets at Israel?


If you were to look at it logically then it is at the least 95% the fault of the Israeli's and barely 5% the fault of the Palestinians.

Jews must accept there will never be a Jewish state, Palestinians that there will never be an Islamic state, bothe must accept Jerusalem will never be theirs.

It used to be both their own, in fact when henry ford was writing about Jews taking over the world and Hitler was busily away murdering Jews Palestine was a safe haven for Muslims, Jews and Christians who lived their together (under Islamic rule oddly enough).

So it can be theirs, it has been theirs and it will be theirs if the terrorist zionist element stopped trying to have it all.

They offered compensation for the years of occupation and exclusion. After all, said the Israelis, we are stronger and richer than you, and we can afford to be generous. And besides, it is the right and just thing to do.

They never offered compensation, heck, the IDF does not offer compensation for people they wrongly kill or the houses they wrongfully tear down.

Then they asked to be forgiven for all the death and suffering they had inflicted on the Palestinians, and asked them to do likewise for all the death and suffering inflicted on Israelis.

It is virtually impossible to compare.

For an apology to be made, how about the Palestinians in Gaza be 'forced' to see the destruction 'they' caused by walking through Sderot, maybe see a few damaged picket fences and visit the grave of that Israeli who died.

while the Israeli's who supported the air raids can take a trip through Gaza, once they see all the deaths they've caused.

An apology requires an acknowledgment of an error and an understanding of the ramifications of the error. It isn't the Israeli peoples fault that they cannot come to grips with their mistake, no one in the world would be able to come to accept their support for an illegal blockade and military action led to the deaths of so many people.

So you might want to argue about it being 'forgive and forget', but the Israeli's have a lot more to forget and while they cannot be excused for being unable to forgive the Palestinians the Palestinians most certainly have the right not to want to apologize to Israel. The damage simply does not even begin to compare.
