(Anzac Weekend)
Come and join African Soul for an unforgettable weekend of rich Ghanaian
rhythms, exuberant dances and songs, and delicious traditional food. This Anzac Day weekend, immerse your body and soul in true West African culture with up to
6 hours of drumming per day led by Ghanaian Master Drummer, Bortier Okoe. Experience the explosive energy of dynamic dance instructor Aflah Hammond and tantalise your taste buds with traditional Ghanaian cuisine, hand prepared for you by Mama Ayikai.
In just 45 minutes you can escape Adelaide and wind your way through the hills to arrive at the stunning Crystal Lake Camp in Macclesfield. Pitch your tent next to the serene Crystal Lake or make yourself comfortable in the onsite dormitories. Experience a holistic weekend, with early morning yoga to relax and de-stress, free time for canoeing and tennis and fully catered feasts of delicious healthy Ghanain food.
The camp runs from Friday to Sunday and is a unique and exciting way to
spend your Anzac Day weekend... drumming for joy! Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced, African Soul will take your drumming to a new level.

8.00pm Welcome jam session and bonfire

7.00am Yoga (optional)

9.00am Traditional Ghanaian libation ceremony
9.30am Drumming
11.00am Morning tea
11.30am Dancing
1.00pm Lunch
2.00pm Drumming
3.30pm Dancing
5.00pm Free time
6.30pm Dinner

Cost: $290 includes:
• accommodation - camping or dormitory
• all meals - vegetarian and non vegetarian catered for

• Loose comfortable clothing
