WHEN THERE SHALL BE (the so-called) 'STABILITY' IN AFGHANISTAN?
A REAL TOUGH PLUS PUZZLING QUESTION!
Answer no. 1. NEVER!
Answer no. 2. VERY UNLIKELY IN NEAR FUTURE!
The war in Afghanistan is now a decade old and the loss of military n civilians have been unprecedented!The only positive result that we could draw out of this war is that OSAMA BIN LADEN NO LONGER EXISTS AND THE 'AL-QUAEDA' IS NOT AS STRONG AS BEFORE!
The Talibans are still active and who knows what nexus exists between the Afghan govt n Talibans!Hamid Karzai is d most bloody corrupt man always begging alms from other countries n remains stuck to power through all election-frauds n other corrupt practises.
FRANCE ABRUPTLY ANNOUNCED TO WITHDRAW ITS TROOPS BY 2013-a year ahead of the scheduled withdrawal!Afghan Pres. N The British P.M. hv criticised it.BRITAIN ASSURED IT WL LEAVE ONLY WHEN THE AFGHAN NATIONAL ARMY COMES IN FULL COMMAND N THERE COMES STABILITY IN THE COUNTRY!
Everywhere the demand is picking up to withdraw troops at the earliest as the casualities rise.
The nexus between the Talibans,Pak-Terror-Groups n of course the Pak-army, makes the situation more complex!
IT IS HIGH TIME TO TALK TOUGH WITH THAT ROGUE KARZAI AND TOLD HIM TO HONOR A TIMELINE AND LEAVE THE COUNTRY!
IN TOTALITY,THE WAR IN AFGHANISTAN IS A WASTE!DNT LINGER MORE!KARZAI IS SIMPLY PASSING THE BUCK.HE MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!
THE TALKS ,FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF BETTER OUTCOME,ALSO INVITE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE PAK-ARMY.THE STABILITY OF THAT TROUBLED AREA DEPENDS UPON ALL THE SIZEABLE STAKEHOLDERS AND,THEREFORE,WITHOUT BRINGING ALL OF THEM AROUND THE NEGOTIATING TABLE,THE RATE PLUS DURATION OF ANY SUCCESSFUL FUTURE FOR AFGHANISTAN SHALL REMAIN STUCK IN THE DARK!
