The Monster believed to guard the Cape of Tormentas.A mythological figure of portuguese
history.Luis de Camões had him figure on his epic work Os Lusíadas.
Adamastor stands for all adversities of the nautic journey, another name for fear that under the poetic words of Camões is shown as a man who has had an heart broken, and that hurts because he is in pain.
