Moving on up

August 11th 2010 10:12
So, soon enough I'll be taking over a new domain by the name of Wolf's Den. So, before my opening post, note that all other content is not mine.

I feel kinda bad aking over an old blog, as I wonder how angry the guy who owned the last blog will be when they see what has happened. Gah. My conscience is playing up.

I just finished playing Ace Attorney investigations yesterday (for the second time). My thoughts on the whole game? Well, it's definitely not as funny as the last games in the Ace Attorney series. Just because Edgeworth is so serious. Well, he seems to be able to wear a ruffled cravat without bursting into laughter every few seconds from his reflection.

Best part of the game? Any part where I saw a character I knew already, but they never addressed. Like Winston Payne, in the prosecutor's office, or Lotta Hart later on. I seriously think I cried out with joy every time I saw someone. Kinda embarrassing, especially as I usually played the game out in the public.

On other new, I was in Game earlier on this week. And guess who I saw? FRIGGIN OBI WAN AND DARTH VADER AND SOME OTHER PEOPLE TO COMMEMORATE THE FORCE UNLEASHED 2!!! Yeah, I didn't really pay much attention to them. I already saw them walking around the mall anyway. Maybe I should cosplay one day and just walk around randomly.

Oh yeah. I can speak a bit of Italian now, thanks to Assassin's creed 2. I know how to say bye and rest in peace! Yeah, I'd sound like a murderer if I went around Italy saying that.

So, I just started up my old game of Pokemon Gold up. It's been a while since I last played, since I kinda lent it to a friend (who is now not a friend anymore). And can I just say, DAMN is it ugly. Yeah, I know it's old ( about 9 years where I'm from) and I can't really say it's bad for the time on the Gameboy, but having just ravished my way through Monster Hunter, I just can't help but wish that it was a bit more 3d (it would be if I could be bothered to buy the latest reiteration of the game).

Back to the game. My guy is named Olly (thanks to a friend for that) and I started him off with a cyndaquil. Easiest starter. And of course I battled my rival, ???. And then I decided to play around with him. Seriously, I wonder why Nintendo allowed us to name people in games. I duly called him "Penis" (as he's a bit of a dick).

And then I went around and killed some more innocent children's dreams, before I cam up to my first gym. This one was run by a child. I shattered his pokemon and went on my way.

And then I bought Assassin's Creed 2 (I'm slow on buying because I have no money, OK?). And so I can't be bothered to look at any more pixels for a while. Not whilst I'm the amazing EZIO AUDITORE!!!!

I liked Alatair better though.

Something is bothering me...

August 5th 2010 14:45
Ever noticed that when you think about something you always do, you can't help but monitor it for about an hour afterwards? It's always happening to me. Like when I blink and I've just noticed I blinked, I will continue to notice when they happen. I just can't help it. I bet it's happened to loads of people.
EGADS! Now I'll never be devoid of this awful problem.

Another example: when I'm watching comedy shows. I'm just sitting there, laughing away, when BAM! It hits me like a brick wall that I'm laughing. Then I can't laugh at anymore of the jokes. All because of me noticing my amusement. Yes, the show's funny, but how can I laugh when I know that I'll notice when I laugh, and it'll come out sounding faker than Donatello Versace's face?

I'm just nitpicking.

Anyway, guess what I had for breakfast. No, not bacon, that would have required time and effort to prepare. I don't have patience (or energy) to do that. No, I had biscuits with chocolate spread. Yip, just dunk the biscuit in the choccy goodness.

It's times like these that I'm happy that my mum doesn't tell me off for that sort of stuff anymore.

I just noticed that I'm blinking. DAMMIT.

on Movie Review: District 9

This is a really good review. I loved the film, and so did my dad. It shows an insight into the divide between people in S.Africa, and also the rest of the world. I don't know why, but I feel that the movie was actually made better by being science fiction, with aliens instead of people. Really was a great film.
