Lifes little slices - July 2007

"A very rare HOT day in PA!!"

The weather is pretty much always wonderful in the summer here in PA but today was a scorcher. Nothing better to do on a day like that then to just spend the entire day out in the pool, with radio on, just enjoying life on this farm of ours. I worked on business a little bit first, getting the rest of my orders filled, so i didn't feel guilty for doing nothing the rest of it. Not that i realy ever do feel guilty for it. <winks> We live a pretty simple, laid back life here and for taht i am very grateful.
Heres some pics of our day!

After time in the pool we loaded up the last two puppies we have left. 2 little boys. One Lil'Bits, and One Kali's, and took them for a ride to DQ for a chocolate dipped, vanilla cone. ofcourse they could have no choco and very little taste of icecream, but they enjoyed the ride just the same.

"Ahhhh, the last two of the bunch of 7 puppies!!"

We now have Blood Diomond in and ready to watch. Popcorn is done on the first try, and i'm off to relax.

Katyzzz, I do LOVE where we are in this thing called life! Lucky to have found this little place because that realter wanted us to pic a house after just a couple houses. sooo frustrating!! <smiles> But we got lucky.

Nick, Thank you!! These pups sure have been alot of fun. We're gonna miss them when they leave since we've had them soo long.
Yep, theres room for all the orblers. We'll fire up the grill, and put on some music. <smiles>

Ash, I think it's sooo cool you LOVE winter!! You rarely meet people that love it. I do LOVE it up until New years day, but thats all about the holidays. I don't like cold, i don't like feeling stuck inside. Yep, i'll take a longer summer. i feel it's almost over already!! <frowns>

Thank you Mis!!!It was a beautiful day. A hot day, but beautiful as long as there was water to be gotten into. Lucky that we still have the pool because one of our horses kicked the side in. Popped back into place though thank God. Not sure realy if they kicked it, but somehow they got too close to it and bumped it or something. we let them grazy in the yard free instead of mowing, now and then. well, i should say, we use too. lol
