"24 Review:"

"24 Review:"

24 premiered on FOX in 2001. It it set in real time. Each seasons are called "Days" and there are 24 episodes in each season, and each episode, an hour in length, is one hour out of one day. Each season is a year and a day later. The new season has Allison Taylor, who is elected president of the United States in 24.

(Allison Taylor sometimes looks like Hillary Clinton. Also, Allison's staff looks like the major presidential candidates of 2008).

I have not watched 24 until recently. I never paid much attention to FOX until then. But I did remember a show that had a beeping timer before and after commercials.

Of all the episodes that I have watched so far, 24 is very interesting. Jack Bauer reminds me of a young Jim Kirk, and 24 resembles vintage long running tv series. The technology is amazing.

The only problem that I have with 24 is all the deaths that occur with the characters.

24 has a story line that keeps going on from each episode (hour) to the next one; Sometimes you just can't wait for the next episode to happen the next week.

There is also many weeks where 24 isn't on, because the season has finished and the next one hasn't aired yet. You can recognize 24 with it's beeping timer and split screen. The split screen occurs after commercials and sometimes during the show.

"Scrubs Review":

"Scrubs Review":

Scrubs is an NBC/ABC series that is a half hour situation comedy that does not have laughter. It is not filmed before a live audience (or it might be screened, but the room does not have microphones on). It also does not have recorded or canned laughter. This series is similar to other NBC shows such as My Name Is Earl, and The Office, and Chuck. Most of the time in this series, the events are the thoughts of John Dorian, or J.D.. Sometimes it is the thoughts of other characters.

The reason why I did not watch this series for many years is because I did not think that medical related humor was very funny. I actually thought it was very cruel of an idea to even have ever created a medical situation comedy. The interviews on the late night talk shows did not help much either. Their promotion clips, as well as commercials, was of clips that I thought were terrible.

I eventually got around to watching just the opening segment. The theme song is terrible!! The closing theme is okay, but the opening theme, which is "I can't do this allll on my own, no I know. I'mNoSuperMan (music playing quickly) I'mnosuperman". It is one of the most terrible TV series themes that I have heard of.

However, I am familiar with Sarah Chalke. She is a very talented and nice looking actor. I remember her from Roseanne. In Scrubs, she looks exactly like she had before. She also looks like the first Becky actor, Lecy A. Goranson. (The spelling might be in-correct) in this series. Elliott Reed is a hilarious and hyperactive character.

I am also familiar with Dr. Kelso, because his actor was in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. The two characters are very similar. Dr. Kelso is an old doctor, and himself and Dr. Cox are nice people that are worn out by several things, from their personal lives to their lives at work. Because they are doctors, they might occasionally not succeed in their work, which is depressing to them. They remind the new staff members of several good and bad things about the careers, and often give everybody advice, and sometimes tease the other people, especially Dr. Cox with J.D., who rarely calls J.D. by his actual name. Dr. Kelso, however, calls everybody by their professional title and last names.

Ted is a constantly stressed out lawyer, who doesn't appear to like his job, and frequently has clumsy things happen to him. The same actor is on Desperate Housewives, whose character, a therapist, gets assaulted and thrown off a bridge.

There is also a nurse, who is at the Nurse's Station. I don't remember her name, but she is hilarious.

Also there is a surgeon named The Todd, who is also hilarious but sometimes sickening. Another surgeon is Turk, who is J.D.'s friend and they have been friends for many years. Turk marries Carla, who is also at The Nurse's Station. Both of these nurses are sometimes outside of The Nurse's Station. Carla does not like how J.D. knows about Turk more than she knows about Turk. She also calls J.D. "Bambi", so she is another person that calls J.D. names other than his own. Turk is one of the more annoying characters on this show, and it might take at least a few decades to get used to him.

There is also Janitor, and I don't remember his name. I don't think anybody remembers his name. Almost all of the time, he likes to torture J.D..

The characters are all very funny, and the interns at the beginning of the series end up getting interns of their own. When the show is not funny, everybody gives each other advice. It is still an unusual setting for a situation comedy, but it is still worth watching. Just try to block out the theme song, and try not to let any scenes where a patient dies bother you too much, because that often happens as well. Additionally, just like any other series, not every episode is as good as it should be.

"Fringe Review":

"Fringe Review":

Fringe
is a television series that premiered on FOX. It has been airing Tuesday nights. It partially resembles CBS's Eleventh Hour.

It is presented with limited commercials and it is about secret experiements and science fiction, now made possible by Fringe Science.

Olivia Dunham is an agent for FBI. She finds a renegade named Peter Bishop and tricks him to come back with her. His father, Dr. Walter Bishop is released from being institutionalized to help solve a case. He was put there because one of his experiments caused a lab accident caused the death of a young girl. During the first few episodes, there are problems with a highly advanced corporation called Massive Dynamics, there are problems between Olivia and her superviser Phillip, and Walter is struggling after years of isolation and torture in the institution. There is also a lot of graphic violence in the first few episodes.

Now Walter and Peter get al ong okay, Olivia and Phillip get along okay, and Walter performs remarkable experiments successfully and often says hilarious things.

Fringe is one of FOX's "Viewer Discretion Advised" programs. Despite this, Fringe is actually a very watchable show. Depending on the episode, I do not recommend eating while watching the program. Fringe is very intelligent and creative and partially educational. It reminds me of a Halloween version of a Star Trek series. Also, Fringe is co-produced by J.J. Abrams, who is a new producer for Star Trek. I try to watch every episode of a show before writing a review, but since Fringe is a new program that is still airing new episodes, this is impossible. However, so far I think Fringe is an excellent program.

And now I am going to mention The Internet Movie Database. If you read all the reviews on that website, (called comments) you can see many people do not like this show, and they think that it is unoriginal and dull. They do not rate Fringe with many yellow stars. People responding to the comments often say that they agree with the reviews.

I think that this is very surprising. I thought that Fringe will soon be as successful as House, M.D. Hopefully FOX will not read those reviews and quickly cancel Fringe after only 22 episodes. Unfortunately FOX seems to enjoy cancelling programs if they are not 110% successful. FOX needs to not cancel this series. It should run at least 15 years. But since when does FOX air programs for that long? The only program that I can think of that has been on FOX for an extremely long time is The Simpsons.

"Fringe Is About To Be Cancelled.":

"Fringe" is a television program that follows the lead of many different shows that have titles with as few words as possible with as few syllibles as possible, and with as few letters as possible. It primered on FOX in 2008 and easily appears to be a competition to CBS's "Eleventh Hour" television program.
