And so it begins, a new life, a new chapter, a new way of being. A revised edition of the old me; one with all the old bits, and the new bits of gathered wisdom, accumulated knowledge, learnt behaviours, learned ways. The old me grown up; in age, in ways I never knew I could grow.
A mother of two; a lover of none, but of many; a sister, a daughter, a friend, and time has done much to alleviate the pain of a broken heart a billion times over, and time moves on in mysterious ways, and time, and time.
And so it begins, a new life, a new chapter, a new way of being. A different person, a different woman, a different life - but I deep down, I am still me. I’ve just grown, matured, learnt, become a bit more of the me that I am destined to become.
A woman with confidence, control, strength. A woman with friends, family, fun. A woman with direction, goals, ambitions. A woman alone, but never lonely.
And so it begins, my new life, separated from one, but bound to many. I live in a new house, in a new town; sleep in a new bed with new pillows. I have a new job, I bought new clothes and I have a new hairstyle.
And so it begins, my new life, a new chapter, a new way of being. I am thankful for the past, excited about the future, but living in the now.
