'Which one, the blue or the black?'
"Listen Charlotte, you look gorgeous in both of them so just make a decision. It's only a job interview for goodness sake, you're not meeting the queen."
"mmm, yep, I know but I really want this one. I've heard fantastic things about the perks they offer their employees. I've done the hard yards and I figure it's about time I was recognised and rewarded. I think this is just the company for me."
"Well, good luck Charlie, I know several of the girls from Woollards are going for the job too and I know a couple of them from business college. They were top guns then and I'm sure they haven't been resting on their laurels in all this time, they're bound to give you a run for your money. I gotta admire your pluck though, it's way out of my league."
Forty minutes later saw Charlotte Manning waiting in the reception area of O'Malleys Recruitment Services. She sat, trying to relax whilst flicking through the latest fashion mag and its' endless pages of glossy ads and too few articles of interest. With her nervous tension mounting, Charlotte's mouth became dry and so she stood and walked towards the water cooler in the corner of the room. She filled a plastic disposable cup and turned to wander back to her seat, lost in fanciful daydreams of the job that she hoped would be hers. Unfortunately, Charlotte so preoccupied, didn't see the door to the offices' inner sanctum opening directly into the path she was on until she walked headlong into it, her cup of water thrown into the air and it's contents flung all over the beautifully fine, dark wool jacket on a distinctly masculine physique....to be continued.
