A New Beginning
September 5th 2007 22:27
After dying my hair blue and donning eyeliner, I began my first day of high school by spending nearly fifteen minutes trying to find my way and failing. I did find it eventually, hanging out with H, my friend there, before heading off to the office to get my time table and a shirt. I then spent the next almost-hour in Guidance waiting to get my time table wearing a borrowed uniform.
I now have my time table, a few assorted friends (two and a half groups, to be precise), and I've discovered yet another bad thing about mornings. Here at Eastern, Morning Classes For Smart People SUCK. The English teacher wants her entire class to make friends and be cheerful, and the science teacher is just plain weird, confusing, and quite likely-ly confused.
I need to get a binder for science, but I have to bother going to a store in order to get that binder.
What I don't like is that while all the easy classes are second semester, I don't like the majority of them. I don't care one way or the other about the computer course, but I don't like being in French for Dummies-because French for smart people is unpleasantly enough at the same time as Math for Dummies, which is the only Dummies course I NEED to take. Le sigh.
Keyboard classes-my arts class-are really, really awesome if a bit creepy. I love my teacher, and the kids, if nothing else, are at least hysterical.
And, in case you hadn't guessed, I HAVE BLUE HAIR.
And I'm joking that it's natural
Other than that my posts are going to become more and more sporadic as time passes and I'm stuck only going online between four and six in the afternoon (or four and 11 PM on some nights)
