A Message from WW2

When I first saw this poster I knew it had to have a place in my home. It seems there are countless times through the week when I need to 'keep calm and carry on', so it's very handy to have around.
Originally produced by the British government as a propaganda poster to reassure British citizens at the outbreak of war in 1939, this poster has now had a resurgence and appears in homes across the globe - including mine.
At first, I couldn't decide which room it would be best located - maybe somewhere accessible that I could dash to when moments of 'uncalmness' struck,
but then I would need to have one in every room. Also there was the problem of pillar box red fitting in with my decor.
Suddenly a light bulb went off. Having a son prone to 'less than calm moments' and a passion for anything relating to military history, it couldn't be in a better place.
Interestingly, a perfect match with the decor.....
If you would like your own piece of 'calm' go here
