A Day in New Mexico

Last nite I drove across Arizona. There wasnt much to see most of the time. When I went through Flagstaff, I thought maybe Id get to see some fireworks. Oh hell no. It was pouring rain. I guess they cancelled the fireworks. I would have.
Today Im in a little town in New Mexico, waiting for another driver to get here so we can swap loads. He isnt in much of a hurry, so I get to sit here until tonite and then drive like crazy to get back for a Calif. unload on Monday morning. Its 105 degrees and Im sure glad the air conditioner works. Good thing I like the radio. Gotta keep the truck running to stay cool and the ding, ding, ding would drive me nuts without it.
9 days til vacation.
