Apparently a new law has passed that allows Americans' communications to be monitored when they talk to foreigners overseas. The National Security Agency can now monitor communications, such as calls and e-mails, that enter the United States and involve foreigners who are the subjects of a national security investigations.

One week after calling the wedding off, Tameka Foster and Usher Raymond were finally married this past Friday. Their vows were said in the office of Usher’s Atlanta lawyer. It may have not been the glamorous wedding we were expecting, but he did it, this time. And....his mommie was there. And all was well.
Congrats! .......Whew, glad that's over

Survivors of Wednesday's collapse of the I35W bridge recount the horror of thw whole scene. "Jamie Winegar said she suddenly started hearing boom, boom, boom and we were just dropping, dropping, dropping, dropping."
"Her husbad says, I slammed on my brakes and saw something in front of me disappear and then my car pointed straight down and we fell."
Seven are confirmed dead however there are still around 50 cars in the Mississippi. Pretty scarey stuff. Especially since it could happen anywhere.

The wedding between Usher Raymond and fiancee Tameka Foster this Saturday was cancelled. Ushe's publicist has had this to say "It was announced today that the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond, and Tameka Foster was canceled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected." I heard that guests had flown in from miles away only to be turned around at the gates of Usher's estate. Ad Tameka is getting hit with all kinds of charges of fraud. Wefare and chevk fraud are amoung the charges, She is having a really bad week.

Not completely sure of the validity of this one but, I heard Whoopi Goldberg will be named as the new co-host of The View. I love her humor and think she will be a wonderful fit. She is very out spoken and straight forward without being tacky. Hopefully she will not have as much drama as Rosie O'Donell seemed to have.

I have been trying to find a way to talk about the death of beloved Tammy Faye Messner and could not think of anything. She was such a kind and gentle spirit. She was obviously a very strong woman too. She went down to 65 lbs in her last days as she began to succumb to her battle with colon cancer that had spread to her left lung. As it turns out, President Bush just had an exam where he had polyps removed from his colon and tested for malignancy. Non was found. Cancer is a disease that has taken many victims and I want to share some thing with you that may help you protect yourself. Since cancer is just a malfunction of your body cells it seems that we can do something to prevent them from malfunctioning. The phone woke me up this morning. I rolled over a few times contemplating whether or not I should answer. Finally after the third call I answered. Panic on the other line. "TURN ON YOUR T.V. LOOK AT THE NEWS!" An explosion in NYC. 1 dead, 26 injured. My thoughts, "My Lord not again." Images of people running, screaming, and crying. Not a nice thing to wake up to. As the broadcasts went on, it was reveiled that a steam pipe explosion was the cause of all the mayhem, not a bomb. Relif. How sad is it the when things go wrong now our first thoughts are, "WE ARE UNDER ATTACK........AGAIN." Life as we know it has changed forever.
