3D video is becoming very popular with consumers especially 3 D television, still the 3 D glasses for me is a bit of a turnoff. With various brand names becoming cheaper there are some bargains to be had especially now with the Australian dollar reaching parity. With technology rapidly changing the newer 3D televisions systems that do not require the viewer to wear the ridiculously expensive 3D glasses.

The newer technology will immerse the home consumer in a whole new world of video entertainment with full 3D Blu-ray Disc™ video and massive surround sound.
Ok ,so you have a 3D TV currently there are not many free to air television station that cater for real 3D.

Sadly there are not many commercial television stations in Australia offering 3 D video, except perhaps some cable companies that offer special packages these include sporting programs,( frankly I would much rather watch paint dry, as you do doubt guessed I am not a sports fan).

Although watching a 3D movie on a good quality television set is entertaining as the visual senses are occupied with seeing the “real” world not a flat two dimensional video image on a screen, making the overall visual experience more rewording.

A new emergence in 3D video recorders are fast becoming popular. There are several makes and models available on the market .
One in particular I rather like is the Panasonic HDC-SDT750. The HDC-SDT750 is capable of capturing video in 2D and 3D using a SDHC memory card. It has a very good LCD touch screen feature.

The Panasonic HDC-SDT750 has a lens attachment that fits over the 12x optical zoom lens this allows you to switch between shooting in 3D and 2D quickly and easily. HDC-SDT750 has excellent picture quality and is able to shoot still images as well.

The Panasonic HDC-SDT750 is perhaps not the cheapest on the current market, but in terms of picture image quality it does perform extremely well and would suite semi-professional videographers.
