It's a wondrous, comical, liberating sight, but how to react? What to say? The signal is totally clear when the dancer bends over and has her buttock muscles perform a twitching dance of their own. The Brazilian woman and a man from France can claim to own the best bottoms on the planet after winning a derriere competition in Paris on November 12, 2008. Some 45 finalists from 26 different countries took part in the competition . The Competition not only represent all body shapes, colours and sizes, but every kind of performing skill you can imagine, as well as some you can't. They took part to win a modelling contract and 15,000 euros ($18,769) prize money where the two winners receiving an underwear modelling contract, $15,000 prize money and an insurance contract for their bottoms.
Members of the judging panel included supermodel Adriana Karembeu, astronaut Paolo Nespoli, FHM France Editor-in-chief Lomig Guillo and Sloggi underwear chiefs.
Candidates entered the competition by submitting their photos to www.sloggi.com, where 11,200 entries were received.
More than 31 million votes were cast by the public.
Candidates from all over the world competed in the live finale, held in Paris. .[Agencies]
