Encouraging you to bring your body to my level I help you slide from the lounge. Allowing you just enough space to slip into position, my hands run the length of your legs to your waist. Helping you move is just an excuse to feel the silkiness of your scrunched up skirt.
Passing you a glass you sip at the rich red wine before returning the favor, the warm liquid is deep and slips easily down. Resting your head back on a cushion, your body now flat on the floor with a look of expectation on your face.
10
I nestle on my side propped up by one elbow and touch your cheek with the length of my fingers, your skin feels soft and warm
The palm of my hand can describe your smile, you twitch with recognition tickling my hand
I trace your chin with my forefinger to the tip and then around the back till my hand has reversed completely to the other side of your face
You nest your other cheek against my the back of my hand
11
Your tight singlet top displays your fabulous shoulders and arms for all to admire
As I cup my hand on your left shoulder you look into my face and smile gently
We share silent moments in the others eyes not wanting to be the first to break away
12
Using only my thumb and the pads of my first 2 fingers I trace down the inside and outside of your upper arm, very gently almost not touching, you can feel me but your skin doesn’t move
As I move my arm brushes across your left breast, I feel the pressure of your bra holding it in place and imagine your nipple were one of the bumps I pass over
I reach your elbow and explore the inside with my thumb making very slow circles
Moving on to your forearm I use more of my hand, this time griping firmly but again not allowing the skin to be distorted as I travel down slowly to your wrist
13
Deliberating running my arm onto your tummy as I reach your wrist, you open your hand to meet my exploring. My elbow rests gently at the top of your thighs feeling the silky imprint of your hidden underwear.
I feel a hint of movement from hips, is it a welcoming gesture or a pleading for the mercy of relief
My thumb can feel your pulse or is it mine, either way someone is surely alive
Running my fingers across the back of your hand as though it were a musical instrument, my thumb finally meets its counter part from end to end
14
I can count the muscles in your hand and feel the imprint of your palm, perhaps I could read your future simply by touch
Turning your hand gently in mine, I explore each finger from back to front, knuckle to knuckle, nail to nail
As I reach your last and smallest nail I slowly move my face closer to yours and kiss you gently on the corner of your lips. Your lips feel cheated by the limited connection but won’t risk further reward by moving.
Your taste is of chocolate and red wine and maybe even honey suckle...
