2006 McLaren`s Disappointing Season!!!

Even if McLaren had a far less competitve car this year, compared to the rivals from Renault and Ferrari, Kimi Raikkonen did a wonderfull job and gained precious points which helped McLaren get the 3rd position in the Constructors Championship at the end of the 2006 Season!!!
This was the most disapointing season for McLaren in the last decade... 2006 being the first winless season for Mclaren in the last 10 years!!! Even if this happenend, knowing the dificulties the team had throughout the Season... we only can congratulate Kimi for doing a wonderfull job by accumulating 65 points this season: 6 podiums - 2 times finishing in second position (Australia and Italy) and 4 times finishing in 3rd position (Bahrain, Great Britain, Canada and Germany)...
In what concerns his team mates... things didn`t look so good because Montoya proved to be a huge disapointment, McLaren bringing Test Driver Pedro DeLa Rosa after the Indianapolis Grand Prix... both drivers didn`t made such a good impression this year especially Montoya who now races in the Nascar Series!!!
What will happen next year???
McLaren never in it`s history had two bad seasons in a row nad knowing that Double Champion Fernando Alonso will race for McLaren next year future can only look very very promising... Alonso`s Team Mate hasn`t been confirmed yet, McLaren`s officials announcing an official by the ned of this year... Favourites for this position: Briton Lewis Hamilton, age 21- 2006 GP2 World Champion and Pedro DeLa Rosa, age 35...
Will the team manage to give Alonso a car suitable for his talent, capable of bringing Fernando once again in first place??? This reamins to be seen as we have 115 days till the first Start of the 2007 Season!!!
