on Mischa Barton uncovers Bebe

November 5th 2007 19:41
Bebe is another "wannabe" brand. They will never be considered a real brand, by REAL and acclaimed designers, nor will they ever become a brand that will use quality materials. This is another mass-market brand targeting pre-teens with a bit more cash than their peers and lack the brains to go with it. In fashionistas term, a cheap fad.

I don't know which galaxy you are from or which elementary school you are attending, the Anonymous above me, but NO. This statement cannot be more inaccurate:

"50% of girls have a 'J'adore Bebe' or some other bebe shirt they are famous for (with rhinestone logos)"

J'ADORE BEBE? A blatant rip-off of Dior's 2003/2004 campaign? And it doesn't even rhyme. I will give you benefit of the doubt. Maybe that is too long ago for you to remember. And that may be what "BEBE" is hoping for.

No single brand can produce a product that dominates 50% of a female the population anywhere. That is just ridiculously stupid. But again, you only learn business and economics in highschool so you get the benefit of the doubt.

I can only guess Bebe tends to uneducated hormonal girls.? (This is what these comments have taught me; don't worry, atleast I know you are literate). However that brings me to another question: what you people are doing on a vintage culture site..... do you know what vintage is?

Seriously awkward.
